Coming up in this week’s Sapling

“It’s a horrible cliché, I know, but it’s true: we all get rejected—all of us, all the time—but we have to use those rejections as fuel for the fire, rather than allow them to smother the flames.”—Melissa Faliveno, from this week’s feature interview with Poets & Writers magazine! Also, we feature the latest from the likes of: Carve Magazine! Dark Sky Magazine! Main Street Rag Books!

Sapling goes out via email every Tuesday. To join our growing list of Sapling subscribers and to read a little more about what we do, visit http://blacklawrence.homestead.com/sapling.html.

  1. I love this topic. I once had a friend who posted all his rejection letters on his wall in his office. He said it gave him fuel for his writing fire. Does anyone else keep their rejections in a special way?
